During the animation, spectators can also enjoy a soundtrack comprising of original NASA audio from the mission, new music and the speeches of two American presidents who saw the project from impossible idea to a defining historical moment.
The show has been created in partnership with Inspirate with support from BID Leicester and Arts Council England. Overview Effect combines pop art style animation and an original soundtrack to mark this important landmark in history.
The showing is free to attend and suitable for all ages. It will be one of the first events to take place following the renovation of Market Square.
