A big win against the Plymouth Raiders yesterday in Loughborough sees the Leicester Riders guarantee a top three finish in the BBL championship. It was the third game in a row that the Riders have scored over 100 points and the 11th league win in a row.
The 109 – 75 win for the Riders was, Rob Paternostro’s 201st win as head coach, he said, “200 number was nice to see and I got a lot of congratulations from all over the world, and what’s its told me is we have had some good teams and good players but more importantly good people, its been such a fun thing”
“Its been a pleasure to be in this position”.
Leicester Riders play Manchester away on Friday and return to the David Wallace Sports Arena in Loughborough on Tuesday 14th April against the Worcester Wolves.
