A multi-faith memorial service took place in Leicester on Sunday to pay tribute to five servicemen killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. It was held at the Shree Sanatan Mandir a Hindu temple in Leicester, where one of the victims Flight Lieutenant Rakesh Chauhan and his family worshipped.
Father of Lieutenant Chaunhan, Kishor Chauhan attended the service and said of his son, “The Royal Air Force was his passion, he wanted to serve his country, he was very articulate, very humorous and a very intelligent person, he moved through the ranks in the Royal Air Force very very swiftly”
