With entries open from now until the 9th of November, anyone between the ages of 8 to 25 can participate. If you are an aspiring MC, dancer or singer, enter now at: www.leicestersgottalent.com

The winning prize up for grabs is an iPad for the overall winner. Each of the three categories – MC, dance and singing – will also have its own champion who will walk away with £200 worth of vouchers.

This year’s show will kick off in style at 11am, where audience members will be treated to a jam-packed afternoon of entertainment. The aim of the competition is to bring the community together and celebrate young local talented performers.

Organised by Pukaar News and Anand & Daewoo International, Leicester’s Got Talent 2015 is being held in partnership with the independent charity Crimestoppers and Leicestershire Police.

Chief Constable, Simon Cole, said; “Every year I am enormously impressed by the quality of the acts and the time and commitment young people put into rehearsing and performing.  Leicester’s Got Talent is a great way of celebrating what the young people in our city and county can do and I am proud that Leicestershire Police is able to support this fantastic event.”

Romail Gulzar, Event Organiser and Chair for Crimestoppers, commented: “I cannot believe we are in the fourth year of the show. It has been amazing to see the range of performers we have had over the past few years. This year I am excited to see what new talent Leicester has to offer.”

Sue Langley, Head of Regions for Crimestoppers, said “This is a brilliant event for the young people of Leicester who will not only have the chance to perform on stage, but will be able to walk away with some top prizes.

“I am delighted that Crimestoppers is key to making this event happen each year and hope that by supporting Leicester’s Got Talent, it will raise awareness of the importance of giving information on criminal activity in their communities. Crimestoppers’ anonymous service gives people the confidence to report criminal activity without having to reveal their identity.”
