Saturday night saw the Leicester Riders take on the Bristol Flyers at home at Loughborough University. Riders came out on top beating the Flyers 83 – 54.
Riders forward, Paval Losonsky was top scorer with 19 points, six assists and seven rebounds, and Riders guard Neil Watson finished with 18 points and 6 assists.
Rob Paternostro spoke after the game, “defensively we really needed to step up and wanted to hold them to a low number, and to hold them to 54 points I thought we did a great job, not only with our physical defence, but mentally I think the guys did an excellent job and I’m proud of them”
The Leicester Riders return to the court in two weeks on November 9 against Leeds Force, tip off at 6pm.
