Fans gathered on Saturday the 3rd October to see Sunny Leone along side other Bollywood personalities such as Miss Pooja, Kamal Raja, Bohemia, Shide Boss and Romee Khan performing their hits on stage. The event was hosted by District N9NE venue in Philadelphia USA. Afterwards we spoke to Sunny who is well known for her hit single ‘Baby Doll’.
Born in Ontario, Canada, and now living in Philadelphia USA, the Canadian born actor and director started work in a German Bakery, and was later spotted by an agent for Penthouse Magazine, an American adult magazine.
After featuring in various other adult magazines, she later went on to have a career in the adult film industry and has since moved on into a more tame commercial career, where she has gained notoriety for her stunning looks and north American personality in the Bollywood film industry, with other appearances in Hollywood films, worldwide television and has accumulated just under sixteen million followers on social media.
She told us: “My journey with Bollywood has been absolutely amazing, I started Jism 2, and so many different other movies, I’m happy that everything is going well, and I have one more release this year called Mastizaade”.
She went on to say: “You know what I’ve learned from entertainment just in general, is that you can’t predict the future, you don’t know how your next movie is going to do, you don’t know how the next product is going to do. So I hope in five years that I’m still working, and I’m still in Bollywood and I’m still here”.
We also spoke to event organiser Sunny Gill, who stated: “We are very happy to bring Sunny Leone back to her home town and to be bringing a mix of other artists from the United Kingdom and India. The next event will be much bigger and we are looking forward to entertaining the people of Philadelphia again in the future”.
