People are being encouraged to sign up for a series of free Bollywood dance workshops taking place at libraries across the city and county next month.
Nupar Arts is running the ‘upbeat and vibrant’ classes throughout February with two taking place on February 20 – from 11.30-1pm at Syston Library and 2-3.30pm at Melton Mowbray Library.
A third session will take place at Glenfield Library on February 22 between 2-3.30pm.
“It is a fun interactive session suitable for the whole family,” said a spokesman. “They will be able to learn new skills and put key dance moves together.
“Once they have learned Bollywood dancing, they will be able to dress up with some classic Bollywood props, scarves, instruments and if they choose, join the Nupur Arts Practitioners in a mini show to show off their dancing.”
