Thousands were in attendance this year for the annual Leicester Diwali Light Switch event on the Golden Mile.
As well as all the celebrations on stage Leicester MPs Keith Vaz, Liz Kendall and Jon Ashworth welcomed people to the event as well as Chief Constable of Leicestershire, Simon Cole and Leicester City Mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby along with others.
