The winner of Mr England – a Serving soldier in the British Army, is hoping to take home the title of ‘Mr World’ this month.
Manuel Alcantara Turner is a Kings Guard from Windsor, who will be representing England at the Mr World finals in Vietnam. The 22-year-old will be taking part in the competition between November 5 and 24.

Speaking about his career, he said: “It’s my passion – my dream job. I love it.
“I love serving my country – I love representing my country. I would do pretty much anything for this country, I’m very patriotic and very proud.”
Manuel has been a Kings Guard since he was 16. He has served as monumental events such as Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral and King Charles III’s coronation.
He has been deployed to Kenya twice.
“Seeing the Savannah and all the wildlife was amazing,” he says.
Manuel is a big animal lover, owing seven dogs and three cats in total!
He was born and raised in Spain to an English mother and a Spanish father.
“I love it there, but I am proud to be English and to represent England,” he reveals.
The Royal British Legion is one of the charities that Manuel is proud to support during his Mr England reign.
The charity has been helping the needs of service men & women since 1921.
Manuel will be competing with 76 countries in a series of challenges in Mr World including a grueling sports round, head to head interviews, talent round and a charity purpose project.
