Pukaar News today announces that it has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with the Leicester Riders, Britain’s longest-running professional basketball club.

Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders will hold a Press Conference to formerly make this major announcement.

It takes place at 1.30pm on Thursday 1 December, at Phoenix Square, 4 Midland Street Leicester, LE1 1TG.

Riders’ General Manager Russell Levenston, head coach Rob Paternostro and Andrew Sullivan, Riders’ team captain and Great Britain player will be in attendance.

Romail Gulzar, for Pukaar News, said: “Pukaar are very happy and proud to show our support by sponsoring the Leicester Riders. Pukaar is a community-focused business and so we believe our contribution in this way can make a real difference to the city of Leicester and the Leicester Riders.”

Riders’ General Manager Russell Levenston said: “Obviously we are looking forward to working with Pukaar, with Romail and the rest of the team, and we thank them for all of their support in helping and supporting our club.

“We are looking forward to working with them in building awareness of basketball and the Leicester Riders and Leicester, not only locally but nationally and internationally as well.”

Record-breaking performer King G, otherwise known as Gurcharan Mall, will open the press conference with a characteristic display of high-energy dhol drumming.

There will be an opportunity for further questions, photos and interviews when all announcements have been made on Thursday.
