Three People are being questioned by Leicestershire Police in connection to the body of a woman, believed to be in her 50’s, was found in a house on Holmfield Avenue, Stoneygate in leicester.
Officers were called to a property at about 9.30am Saturday 12 December by the ambulance service. Three people were arrested on suspicion of murder, where they are being questioned by detectives.
Formal identification has not yet taken place and enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
A cordon remains in place at the property and all roads that were closed have since been opened.
Detectives are continuing to conduct enquiries and will be carrying out house to house enquiries while liaising with the local community.
