“With hundreds of Indian restaurants in Leicestershire, there’s certainly plenty of choice for curry lovers across the county. However, everyone has their favourite spot – somewhere they love to go for for a special spicy treat, and somewhere which hits the spot every time”, said Romail Gulzar, founder of the Leicester Curry Awards

“Why not nominate your favourite restaurant/takeaway, and show your appreciation for the restaurants, who deliver the delicious food you look forward to week after week?”

As in previous years, this year’s awards will take place at Leicester’s Athena Events Venue.

Previous winners have said that securing a title at the Leicester Curry Awards have been a real highlight, and a great boost for their business.

“The publicity we got was phenomenal – the we got phone calls from customers wanting to know what food we did, and what we served”, revealed Atul Dawda, owner of Soi restaurant, which won Best New Restaurant in 2019.

“As a team we were so proud that we’d achieved something”.
