The spectacular five-day Ramadhan Festival is returning to the city of Leicester for a second year running.
Attracting over 20,000 people last year, the LEC, Grosvenor Suite on 203 Belgrave Gate, Leicester will once again be transformed into a Mediterranean bazaar with a number of exciting food, fashion and entertainment stalls for visitors to enjoy.
Festival Organiser Abdul Razaq Osman said: “It’s going to be very exciting and an event for the whole family to enjoy. This is the only event of its kind taking place in the whole of the UK and reflects the diverse multi faith community we have in the city of Leicester.”
Islamic clothing, Arabic calligraphy, book stalls, perfumes and mouth watering food will all be on offer, plus much more.
The event is taking place from 8th August to 12th August with Iftar (end of fast) meals and prayer facilities being made available on site.
There is a special ladies only browsing time from 12-4pm during the weekdays with everyone else welcome to join in later and mingle around right late into the night. Both men and women are able to attend at any time on the weekend.
Once again the organisers are working in conjunction with charity Muslim Aid, to help those in need.
