Leicester based Manike Music, run by Maryann and Michael Tedstone have produced an album of Ancient Roman and Greek music entitled ‘S.P.Q.R’. The project called ‘The Orpheus Project’ was written with instruments that could have potentially been around at the time and was composed using rules the Greeks and Romans would have adhered to.
The album was performed by ‘The Orpheus Project’ at a Roman festival in Chester where Pukaar News caught up with them.
