India concluded their Mixed Disability IT20 series against England with a comprehensive 118-run victory at Lord’s, although England secured the seven-match series 4-3.
Having won the toss, India elected to bat and made an assertive start. Their innings suffered an early setback when opener Shankar was dismissed without scoring, but Sai Akash and Gowre quickly restored momentum.

Gowre played with considerable authority, taking the attack to England’s bowlers and helping India reach 52 for one during the powerplay. England struck twice in the middle overs, including the dismissal of Sai Akash for 48, but India continued to build steadily.
Captain Majid Magray then anchored the innings with a composed contribution, remaining at the crease until the closing stages and guiding India to an imposing total of 207. Alfie Pyle was England’s most successful bowler, finishing with two wickets for 47 runs.

England made a promising start to their reply, with openers Jonny Gale and Angus Brown putting on 37 without loss. India, however, soon seized control as their bowlers found their rhythm.
Hillary Ahmad Wani led the attack with an outstanding spell of four for 21. Jayesh Parmar provided excellent support with three for 14, while Ravindra Sante claimed two for 20.
The Indian bowlers struck regularly, preventing England from establishing any meaningful partnerships. The hosts were eventually bowled out for 88, handing India a decisive 118-run victory.

Although India ended the series in emphatic fashion, England’s earlier wins had already secured them the title, with the hosts finishing the seven-match contest as 4-3 winners.
