Radio DJ Scott Mills will be making his panto debut next week, when he takes to the stage in Leicester’s popular family pantomime Jack and The Beanstalk.
The show will be running at the city’s De Montfort Hall from next Friday 15 December, until 7 January 2024.
Scott, who hosts a popular afternoon slot on Radio 2, will be playing the part of Mayor Mills the mayor of the village of De Montfort on the Downs, but is also the DJ of its own radio station, De Montfort FM.
He will be treading the boards alongside Leicester’s X-Factor winner Sam Bailey and A1’s Mark Read, who will be playing the titular role of Jack.
“I do love a new challenge so in a year where I’ve already moved to a new radio home and somehow managed to survive 24 hours on a treadmill, it’s time to tread the boards darling! I’m so excited and cannot wait to spend the festive period performing in the great city of Leicester” he said.
