Thousands of people visited the Golden Mile and Cossington Park to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.
Diwali is one of the most important festivals in the Hindu faith as it marks the end of the Hindu year and signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, hope over despair and knowledge over ignorance.
