University of Leicester achieved an incredible feat yesterday at the Heist Marketing awards where they dominated the ceremony with six awards out of a possible fifteen.
Now in its 24th year the Heist awards praise the achievements of university and college marketing departments. Simon Bracewell, of Havas People, organisers of the awards, said: “Institutions are undertaking some ground breaking work resulting in some fantastic return on investment.” None more so than the University of Leicester who have remained firmly in the public eye this year thanks to their ground breaking discovery of King Richard III.
Director of Press for University of Leicester Ather Mirza remarked upon the wins by saying “We went thinking we’d be lucky to win one or two but to walk away with six including the cream of the awards, Best Marketing Team is really, really great.”
