The pews were filled as hundreds of people from across Leicester’s community united in prayer at St Peter’s Church in Highfields on Friday to remember the five victims who died last week.
Faith and community leaders including MPs Keith Vaz and Jon Ashworth, the Chief Constable Simon Cole and other senior police officers were in attendance at the hour-long vigil.
