Singing King of Bollywood Mika Singh’s debut performance in Leicester
TLC Events presents Bollywood singer, Mika Singh, performing live at the Ramgharia Hall in Leicester, with a supporting performance by Kanika Kapoor, on Friday 1st of August 2014.
Hailing from a musical family, his passion for music began at the young age of 8, when he learnt to master many musical instruments including the tabla, harmonium and guitar. Mika is the younger brother of Bhangra singer Daler Mehndi.
The singer, composer, performer and songwriter started his career singing kirtans and later rose to prominence in the 1990s with his debut album ‘Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag’. He is now one of the most sought after playback singers in Bollywood, entertaining and winning the hearts of fans worldwide with his one of a kind voice.
The singing king, made his mark in Bollywood with the hit song ‘Mauja Hi Mauja’ from the movie Jab We Met and followed to deliver a string of Bollywood hits including: ‘Dhinka Chika’ from the movie Ready, ‘Subah Hone Na De’ from Desi Boyz, ‘Gandi Baat’ from R Rajkumar to name a few.
Mika Singh will be supported by U.K based singer and model Kanika Kapoor, who shot to fame with her hit song ‘Baby Doll’ from the Bollywood movie Ragini MMS 2. Kapoor’s previous single ‘Jugni Ji’ also received widespread fame and acclaim.
Mika Singh is renowned for being an entertaining stage performer and for his vibrant live concerts, which are a treat for music lovers of all ages.
