A lorry fire on the M1 in Leicestershire, caused long delays for many motorists this morning, following the fire which happened next to the Meridian Business Park at junction 21.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue crews were called to the northbound carriageway at about 11:45, the motorway was closed in both directions for about an hour.
Only one vehicle, the lorry, was involved in the incident and no-one was injured, the fire service attended the scene and has extinguished the fire.
