The £4 million Richard III visitor centre in Leicester has been chosen as one of the best tourist attractions in the world by travel guide company Lonely Planet.
The centre which is called Dynasty, Death and Discovery examines the King’s life and the myths surrounding him, as well as the archaeological dig which uncovered his remains in a Leicester car park in 2012.
The popular visitor centre features in a list of 26 of Lonely Planet’s ‘world’s hottest new experiences for 2015’.
